Measure clean potable water in precise ratio (~20–25% by weight, approx 4.5–5.0 L per 20kg bag) into a clean mixing bucket.

MIX
Mechanical Mixing
Add powder gradually into water while stirring with a slow-speed electric paddle mixer (300–400 RPM) to achieve a smooth, lump-free paste.

SLAKE
Slake Time (Resting)
Allow mixture to slake for 3–5 minutes undisturbed. This allows active polymers to fully dissolve and chemical adhesion to trigger.

RE-MIX
Brief Re-Stirring
Re-mix briefly for 1 minute without adding extra water or powder. The mixture is now ready with a smooth, buttery trowel consistency.

Notched Application
Apply adhesive using flat side of trowel, then comb with notched side held at a 45° angle in one direction to create uniform ribs.

ARK-BOND Part B Hardener is a high-performance specialized bonding agent designed for various substrates and specialty tiling materials. It provides exceptional bond strength on demanding surfaces.
This product is suitable for the following areas: internal and external walls and floors. Refer to the technical specifications for substrate compatibility.
The substrate must be completely flat, structurally sound, clean, and free from dust, oil, paint, or grease. Highly absorbent substrates should be dampened prior to application.
Pour clean water into a mixing bucket, then add ARK-BOND Part B Hardener powder. Mix thoroughly with a slow-speed electric stirrer until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved. Let it slake for 5–10 minutes, then re-stir before application.
Coverage varies based on substrate flatting, trowel size, and tile back profile. Refer to the product datasheet or use the Interactive Material Calculator on this page to estimate quantities.
We recommend an adhesive bed thickness of 3mm to 6mm depending on tile size. Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours under dry conditions before initiating grouting.
